Holiday Gift Card Donations Are Still  Needed!         If you’re shopping this weekend, please consider helping another Oyster River family at the holidays this year.  Every year there are families who are experiencing difficulty and some extra assistance from our school community is really appreciated!  You can involve your child by speaking with them about community service and the spirit of the holiday season and then donating a gift card so that families may select items that best match their needs.  Often Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Amazon, and Market Basket are most useful although any local merchant is helpful and appreciated!  Stores around the Fox Run Mall like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes and Noble, Old Navy, and Michaels are also requested.  Gift cards may be delivered to the School Nurse’s office by Friday, December 14th. Any questions, contact Eileen Moran at 868-2155, ext. 5222 or at   emoran@orcsd.org   Thank you!

A Note on Grief during the Holidays from the ORMS Counseling Office   -With the holidays upon us, the counseling office wanted to reach out to our community members who are grieving the loss of a loved one and provide support. David Kessler is one of the world’s foremost experts on healing and loss.  In this hour long video, he provides validation and strategies in a thoughtful and honest way, while you navigate the next few weeks with friends and family.
